Guidance for common manager tasks
Financial documents, exhibition game approvals and the Durham Region travel boundary.
Financial Documents
Team Financial Report/Budget — Rep teams must provide this periodically to player parents and office staff.
Bank Letter — For U13+ non-OPDL competitive teams opening, closing or changing authorization on a team bank account. Email executivedirector@whitbysoccer.com for letters.
Cheque Requisition — LTPD, OPDL and Competitive teams use it to request funds for festival and tournament fees.
Exhibition Games
Application To Host An Exhibition Game (AHEG) — Approval is required when hosting a sanctioned game against a non-Whitby team.
Exhibition Game Sheet — Both teams’ coaching staff and the match official must complete and sign it. The hosting team supplies the game sheet for both clubs and the sheet is returned to the hosting club.
Travel Boundaries
The boundaries are Altona Road to the west (Pickering/Scarborough border), Townline Road and Newtonville to the east, and Gamebridge—including Thorah Island—to the north, just north of Beaverton.
Use Google Maps or MapQuest when determining LTPD team travel times.
